Pollution Problem

Did you know a seal was suffocating? This is because carrier bags were wrapped tightly around its head.That makes it hard to breathe. This is why it is so important that you recycle and look after the envirnoment.

Types of Pollution

Land pollution is rubbish thrown on the ground if we keep littering lots of animals and people will get sick.

Air pollution is smoke and gas, so if you burn rubbish it will go in to the sky and it will affect our Earth and it’s Ozone layer. So that's why air pollution is dangerous.

Water pollution is when things pollute our waterways. For example a beach that has a lot of rubbish can affect our sea animals and our drinking water.

Soil pollution is when there are changes in soil by adding chemicals like pesticides. Soil pollution can have dangerous effects on a living organisms.

Solving the Problem

Some things that people can do to help solve our pollution problems are picking at least 10 pieces of rubbish a day. The second thing you can do is make a poster that says stop littering because its killing our sea animals and put them around the local beaches for people to read. Lastly, put your rubbish in the correct bins at home such as the recycling bin, waste bin and organic bin.
