Pollution – Plastic Problem

Dear Jacinda Ardern,

Plastic has been affecting our environment. Did you know 60 million plastic bottles are being disposed of each day? Hello, my name is Burreda and I truly believe plastic should be permanently banned instantly in my opinion.

Plastic is constantly being thrown onto the ground which makes the animals consume the plastic and it harms our precious animals. Did you notice that plastic is now illegal in all retail stores?

It takes a long time for plastic to decompose and landfills are clearly getting enormously big! It is the opposite of good because sadly people are getting sick. In the ocean people discovered 8.3 billion pieces of plastic, that’s incredibly disgusting!

In conclusion, I believe people should stop using plastic instead of using plastic people should start using reusable items or biodegradable products. It would basically be helpful for the environment. There will be less littering and animals will be unharmed. Beaches will be clear, clean and germ free! That is why people should begin using reusable items. If you don’t know where to find them, most grocery stores sell reusable items like bees wax food wrap and steel drink bottles. Also biodegradable napkins, straws and cups.
