                   What is Pollution?

Pollution is something harmful to the environment, animals, plants and humans. There are five types of pollution, land, air, water and light. There are people around the world who are trying to make a change by creating inventions like the ooh orb, reusable bags and electrical bikes and all of the other inventions that are good for the environment.

Land, Air and Water Pollution

There are three types of pollution that are affecting the environment, there are land, air and water pollution. Land pollution is a major problem around the world is caused by a variety of factory.

Air pollution 

Air pollution is one of the biggest threats to the environment and affects everyone, humans, animals, crops, cities, forest and the aquatic ecosystem. What causes air pollution? Burning fossil fuels, sulphur dioxide emitted from the combustion of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and other factory combustibles is one of the major causes of air pollution.

Water pollution

Water pollution is one of the main environmental issues that we are facing, as more than 70% of the earth’s surface is water covered. The great pacific garbage patch is an area of ocean that is just filled with litter. This causes our sea animals to get sick and die. Factories also dump excess oil into the ocean which contaminates it. There are other things too like toxic chemicals that enter into our waterways through spraying our gardens with pesticides.

It is important that we start making a change now or else we are going to ruin the beautiful earth that we live in.
